We partnered with BMO, one of North America’s largest banks, to transform how small business clients experience digital banking. By creating Lexicon, BMO Commercial’s first design system, and redesigning OLBB Lite, their online banking platform, we delivered a cohesive digital ecosystem.
From scalable design foundations to streamlined customer journeys and features like Fraud Hub, our work made banking simpler, more consistent, and more trustworthy for business clients.
🏆 Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2024 — Interaction, UI & User Experience. BMO became the first bank in Canada and the U.S. to receive this recognition in the category.

UX Cases
We built a library of rigorous UX cases for the platform's most complex features and components. Each case grounded design decisions in real evidence — user stories drawn from SME research, competitive benchmarking, and prototyped options tested against actual workflows. This gave stakeholders a clear rationale for every significant design direction, and gave the design system a stronger, more defensible foundation.
